Linking and Switching multiple accounts in IC

Multiple accounts

A single user can have access to multiple payees or admin accounts, and conversely multiple users can have access to a single payee or admin account.  

To give a single user access to an additional account, send a new invite to the same email already in the system, and they'll be given the option to link their accounts during registration. 

Once linked, the user can switch between their various accounts using "Account -> Switch Account" in the nav.

If you try and access a link to something related to one of your payee accounts while using a different payee account, you'll either see a permission denied error or an empty data set. If you run into this issue, make sure you're using the correct account using the Switch Account page.

Link multiple accounts

If you've been invited to access multiple catalog accounts in IC, open the registration page in your email. You should see a page that looks like this:

Once there, you'll see a blue box suggesting you  link your current account -- go ahead and do that, and you should be able to swap between your payee and/or admin accounts.

Switch between accounts

  • Log in to Infinite Catalog using any of your accounts
  • Navigate Account -> Switch Account
  • Click on the account you wish to switch to
