Please note! K7 changed their report formatting in December 2025. In order to accommodate this new report formatting, we have created new importers to ingest each tab of the K7 Excel worksheet data separately - K7 (Digital Sales), K7 (Physical Sales), and K7 (Recoupables). In order to account for the entirety of your K7 reporting, simply verify which tabs/sheets in your K7 reporting worksheet contain transactional data, and import your data on each of the respective tab-specific importers. For legacy reporting prior to December 2025, please use our K7 (Legacy - pre-December 2025) importer.
How to get the data:
- Royalty reports are emailed every month
- Open the statement link in your email, click the "Export Details To Excel" button under your catalog information on the statement, and a .xlsx file will be delivered to you
Importing into IC:
- Open the report you'd like to import into IC and verify which tabs of the reporting contain transactional data (i.e. "Digital Sales", "Physical Sales", and/or "Recoupables").
- In IC, navigate to Royalties -> Data Imports
- Select the corresponding K7 importer from the dropdown menu for each tab you need to account for - K7 (Digital Sales), K7 (Physical Sales), and/or K7 (Recoupables).
- Select the same reporting for each tab-specific importer, and our importers will map the individual tabs of your K7 data corresponding to the importer name(s) as the reporting is imported.
- These importers require the Timestamp and Paid Timestamp to be entered manually
- For Timestamp, use a date in the middle of the month of the reporting Period. For example, a statement with a Reporting Period of 2023-09-01 - 2023-09-30 would have a Timestamp of 9/15/2023.
- For Paid Timestamp, as K7 data is on a two month payment lag (i.e. payment for a September royalty statement is remitted in November), use a date in the middle of the month two months from the statement's reporting period. For example, a statement with a Reporting Period of 2023-09-01 - 2023-09-30 would have a Paid Timestamp of 11/15/2023.
K7 Legacy Importer:
K7 changed their report formatting starting with December 2025 statements. For legacy reporting prior to December 2025, please use our K7 (Legacy - pre-December 2025) importer.
