How To Create Reporting for Payee Share Breakdown by Track

This helpful guide demonstrates how to create reporting breakdowns by Track with corresponding Payee Share totals for IC Statements + Periods from an admin or payee account in order to further analyze payee share royalties.

• From a payee account, navigate to Royalties -> Periods -> [Desired Period] -> Export Transactions -> Export in your IC account. From an admin account, navigate to the corresponding Payee Summary and click Export Transactions -> Export.
• Once you have downloaded the Transaction Export data, you can create a pivot table in a worksheet processor (Excel, Numbers) with the following settings:
  • Filter Type by income
  • Set Rows by Release Artist Name, Release Name, and Track Name
  • Add Payee Share (by sum) to Values
• This pivot table will give Payee Share breakdown by Track
  • Please note: (blank) lines denote Release-level revenue.
